I used these paints for the project. The three big pots are from Target (Devine colors: starlight, buck and lightning). The craft paints from any craft supply store (grey, suede and tan). All these colors were used for the cobblestone and the shingles. The trim is Buck. The shutters are Starlight. The house and door are Lightning. I also used a rolled on coat of Gesso (underneath Lightning) for the house to create a stucco effect.
I used moon light LED string lights inside and outside. One 4.5' string will illuminate the attic, main interior and exterior of this vignette structure. I painted the cord and battery pack green and added vines to camouflage the unit. The lights can be acquired at craft supply store for approx. $6.00.
The exterior was upgraded with a working front door, chimney and window with shutters and flower box. The door, window and flower box can be acquired from miniature retailer. I made the chimney out of craft wood from michaels. The flowers, miss and greens are from craft supply stores. I try to find as small as possible.
I'm a maker and a thinker. I live in a magical world inside my head. To some, I am an artist. I am surely creative. And my creations change as quickly as my mood - so you never know what you're going to get.
