Please contact me ASAP if you have any Harry potter inquiries at all. I am making a large charitable donation of my custom made hp stuff to our local elementary school so that Harry potter can be enjoyed by many for generations to come. It's for the greater good. Lol.
Long live Harry potter!
"Cheers!", i just said that with a bostonian accent. lol
I returned Sunday from a fast and furious weekend. We traveled to Boston for the Hockey East tournament. It did not disappoint! We returned not only as supporting team victors but thoroughly exhausted. Our son is the goalie for UMass Lowell. Lowell emerged the champions of the hockey east play-offs and will continue "onward and upward" ( the exact words of a genuine Ireland bloke we met at our hotel).
Despite our agenda to be there mainly for hockey, we were able to squeeze in some site seeing on saturday. We just couldn't pass up the fact that boston is a very old and historically rich city. And situated right on the atlantic ocean. The very first thing I immediately noticed was the amazing amount of activity on a saturday morning. alot of people walking about on foot. You could hear music and drum beats and people chattering. so much hustle and bustle. For a place that has made a historical imprint on time, it still felt like time waits for no one. not here anyway. There are soooo many irish pubbies. and everything is about the seafood. crabs, lobster, oyster icons everywhere. oh, and if you love dunkin donut coffee, your in luck. i think there was a coffee shop situated in every clump of buildings. an I-V drip of dunkin donut coffee. lol!
We walked the Freedom Trail thru the city. stopping from time to time to tour a historical building or location. it really fancied me to think that i was standing in a building that John Adams or George Washington actually stood to conduct our constitutional affairs. I stood amidst the Boston Massacre where people died so that we can enjoy the freedoms that we enjoy today. I stood on long pier and gazed upon the great atlantic ocean. We enjoyed the blend of old and new architecture. here are some pictures i took. at the end of our self-guided tour we had to pick a place to eat. well, here i was, in what felt like the seafood capital of the world. i really wanted to eat at the Union Oyster House. but alas, my husband hates anything that once swam in water. so, we compromised and dined at Hennessy's irish pub. Their menu boasted unique, authentic irish food. We both had cottage pie. I figured if i can't have seafood, i should atleast dine at an irish pub as i am a quarter irish.
I have made plenty of things! I have very full galleries on my other websites. But this is a new beginning, remember? so here's a preview. it's approx. 80% complete. I have been working very hard on it for about a month now. Guess you'll just need to keep stopping by so you won't miss the big 'unveiling'.
cheers luvvy! ; )
cheers! It's a new year and the winds of change are a blow'in! It's been a particularly tough winter this year in michigan. the sort of winter that changes the minds of men (and women). I frown goodbye to grumpy old man winter and wave invitingly to lovely lady spring. and with it, the rebirth of a fresh website (keytomyworld.com). I am joyed to announce that i will no longer specialize in anything! I'm going rogue. I am far too curious and have far too many interests to commit to one artform. I want to broaden my spectrum for the fulfillment of life. Because really, everything i say and do is part of the web of life. I am officially a 'jack of all trades- master of none'. never fear my friend, i still enjoy everything i've done with Philosophers Stone Couture and Wizardly Fun. However, they will not be my main focus. I have every intention of being flighty, sporatic and moody. All for the sake of art, ofcourse! lol. I quit listing on ebay - too dog eat dog. I am now on etsy. where a proper artist belongs. so, i hope you drop by my blog from time to time to see what crazy thing i'm working on (still a nutter). TTFN -

I'm a maker and a thinker. I live in a magical world inside my head. To some, I am an artist. I am surely creative. And my creations change as quickly as my mood - so you never know what you're going to get.
