REMEMBER: no matter where you go, there you are.
I must have done something to piss off Murphy! He was mad. Much mad.
Two men enter...one man leave.
So you ever so politely ask. " how was the mad hockey/tea party?"
Everything that could go wrong - did go wrong. In fact, it was much a bust. Muchness. I'm not the authority on hockey. Not parties. Not entertaining. Not anything. If you want to know how not to have a party, please contact me.
Here's how it all went down. I'll keep it brief because I'm not a whiner.
I arrived at the park by 8am to set the table clothes, balloons and signs. You need to be early because it's first come first served. The wind was gusting badly and nothing would stay put. I used two rolls of tape and we were still losing stuff. The wind wins!
Just as guests were arriving I had to leave. I spent 3 hours in the E R with my daughter (strep throat). By the time we got back to the party, it was more than half over.
I brought fresh brewed coffee and boiled water for tea and all the accouterments for both and no one seemed interested.
Here's some pics of the mad crew.
